Our Altar Guild is a behind-the-scenes ministry of faithful and hardworking ladies. They prepare the Altar and Altar Table for worship, make sure the Sanctuary is ready for services, care for the priest’s vestments and ensure that linens are ironed, candles are ready and all the sacred vessels are clean. It is a vital job performed by a sometimes under-appreciated group, some of whom like Beth Seay, have worked at this for 40 years! Under the leadership of Shelley McDowell, members are: GR Fasken, Sheena Sikes, Candy Boswell, Beth Seay, Sarah Kaminar, Tania Roland, Margaret Skidmore, Lucy Stokes, Judy Cobb, Callie Kent, Jane Adams, and Barbara Fendley. Flowers are placed on the altar each week. You may donate to the flower fund on our giving page and a dedication will be written in the bulletin.
